Needed: Virtual PC Image of Longhorn 4074

Does anyone have a VPC image of Longhorn 4074 (the WinHEC Build) that they could share with me? Every time I try to install, it crashes the VPC. Normally, I wouldn't ask (I have a machine just for Longhorn), but I have the need to run the latest public and the latest internal builds. Thanks!

Chris,

I had the same problem, so I mapped the image to a virtual CD drive using Alcohol 120% (http://www.alcohol-soft.com/) or you could use free tools like Demon-Tools or ISO Buster on the main OS. Then just boot the Virtual OS to that drive. Sounds a bit hokey but it worked great for me when I had that same problem.

Thanks, Paolo, but someone beat you too it.

Ryan, I think it was a problem with the CD itself, so booting from the ISO would probably have worked better. However, I was fighting network connectivity issues at the time, so downloading the VHD from the Internet was actually faster than copying the ISO to that machine and installing LH from scratch. : )
