The previous version of Reflector gave up in the face of obfuscated code: "This method appears to be obfuscated and cannot be decompiled.". Version 5, however, seems to have no problem decompiling obfuscated code. The obfuscation arms race has just escalated.

Yes, noticed this as well. Some closer look showed that nothing really changed. Instead of throwing an error it now renders invalid code or shows the error message as part of the code. The one exception seems to be IL break instruction which is now handled and wasn't before (Obfuscators started using this pattern because Reflector was missing it, same with that Reflection field bug which is now fixed in the CLR).
