Today I read this book in Safari and it explained better the Data Driven UI
coding and also about the Keep Alive. I have the Orange book and Petzold book, so I think yours seems to be on track to be one of the best WPF.
Anyways, my email is molekilla@gmail.com
Thanks,
Rogelio

If that doesn't work: according to you, it requires four books to grok WPF, and right now I only have Petzold's book. That leaves me three books shy right now.

Here at my workplace I have introduced a sport called "faceball". In short, it involved me throwing a stress ball at a colleagues face while he is coding and oblivious to the outside world.
With your help, if i were to get a copy of this book, not only would it be a valuable resource, but i could introduce the same colleague (who sent me this article) to the wonderful new world of "facebook".

1. I was a tech editor for the new edition. Is this an acceptable reason? ;)
2. Because I have been recommending the book to anyone who asks me how to get started with WPF. I have many of the other WPF books and still think the introduction (in my first edition copy) is by far the best.
3. Because my first edition had the worse case of dog ears I have ever seen!!!

Joel Marcey:
Here is my story.
I quit my job in October to start my own software business. One of the products I am thinking of designing does have an important UI component to it, and, of course, WPF is at the front of the list to support that UI. I know your book would be invaluable in my effort to design the product.
Now, on a different thread, if you are a pro football fan, my favorite team is the Buffalo Bills. And, as such, the fans of that team have suffered over the years, especially with 4 straight Super Bowl losses in the early '90s. It would be nice to win something, even if it has nothing to do with football ;-)
