This seems to use the Microsoft Voice Command technology already available for Windows Mobile 2003. If you've not seen that, check it out!

The car was mentioned on an episode of Microsoft Insider. Apparently the only place I see the program is on TechTV.
I personally think it's awesome. I don't know about having Microsoft on the side of the car though like the one on the Microsoft Insider program but that's just personal preference :). It was demoed on the program and seemed to work remarkably well. It uses bluetooth I believe and coupled with voice recognition it'll truely be a hands-free internet/cell phone experience.
What would be funny is if it'd be hackable. Screw hacking a Gibson, I want to hack that car. But why? There'd be almost no point other than to say you did it. Luckily because it controls nothing, you won't really risk being hacked while driving. I suspect that'll become an issue if we transition to cars having fully functional OS' that actually control the car itself.
